WONDERS OF THE WORLD

The wonders of the world are the cutest places, many recognized for their infrastructures in those times and most are very old.Currently there are established only 7 wonders worldwide, spread over several continents of our planet and these are as follows:

• Chichen Itza, who is Mexico.

• The Colosseum in Rome, located in Italy.

• The Christ the Redeemer statue, located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

• The Great Wall of China, which is in China.

• Machu Picchu, in Cuzco, located in Peru.

• Petra, Jordan.

• The Taj Mahal, located in IndiaThese were the places listed as the wonders of the world in 2007 through a web vote where more than one hundred million people voted. These votes were handled by the New Open World Corporation.

The Colosseum of Rome, in Italy is one of the seven wonders of the world .This Colosseum was built at the time of the Roman Empire, in the first century. Declared a World Heritage Site in 1980 and one of the wonders of the world on July 7, 2007.This was built with materials such as wood, brick, marble and stone; this coliseum has a capacity for about 65000 people.It had a lifespan of almost 500 years until the fall of the Roman Empire, however, it has suffered from many damages from the various earthquakes and natural phenomena that it has been subjected to.

The coliseum was used at the time for multiple battles between gladiators and for an animal hunting show, in which the animals they brought from Africa were rhinos, giraffes, lions, ostriches, crocodiles, elephants and more.And today it is the largest tourist attraction in the city of Rome, which has a museum in honor of the Greek God Eros. Today it is of great importance to the Catholic Church.
